Long Grove Commons is a 19-acre, mixed-use, development located in the historic community of Long Grove, Illinois. Our involvement in this project started early, attending and presenting at hearings for the zoning and building department approval process. Site development involved the reworking of existing off-site wetlands for additional capacity, the creation of four on site storm water detention facilities, a paved nature trail with three gazebos, a full sanitary sewer system with lift station, and forced main individual wells for domestic and fire protection use, 20,000 gallon underground storage tanks, and fire pump with a backup generator. Offsite work included improvements to the existing adjoining state and county highways, with an addition of turning lanes and site egress.

This Cloverleaf Group property included five separate buildings, each with a distinctive design reflecting Long Grove’s heritage. All buildings were designed for multiple tenants and uses. Unique amenities included a clock tower used also for signage, drinking fountains, water fountain, individual masonry enclosed trash areas for each building, and extensive landscaping and lighting updates.
